Homestead Farms
On Earth Day we took a quick field trip to a farm down the road from us. I've always been curious about it, we pass their sign at the end of a narrow dirt road close to our neighborhood. I heard that they were doing an open house & when Tom got home early on Good Friday we loaded up for a visit. They are primarily a goat's milk dairy, run by a fifth generation of dairy farmers. For the open house they had ducklings & chicks for the kids to hold, snow cones, & a hay ride (Judah's first!). My dad's store had a big petting zoo event for Easter when Anna was little, so those cute baby animals brought back lots of sweet memories.

We love Homestead Farms! You should try their goat milk. It is so good. We used to buy their eggs too.
