This week it was her turn on a different horse, and the little girl riding Sancy was older & more experienced. She was loping Sancy around the ring & I asked Anna if she wanted to go that fast. She said (in her teenager voice), "No Mom. I'm at the level one challenge, learning to trot while I don't hold onto the saddle & moving up & down while I ride. She's at least at level three challenge." These are levels/challenges that Anna makes up - her riding instructor doesn't call them that... it's just how our thinking girl organizes things in her head. Love her.

I framed one of these for Dad's office. I am still amazed that riding is something our cautious girl just excells in.
