iTreasure

We made some great memories at our small group's church retreat this weekend. God blessed us with perfect weather - we couldn't have asked for better fall days. The camp was beautiful, and after weeks of lots of rain, it was just nice to be outside. As a bonus, almost all of our very best friends were there - what more could you ask for?

Our theme was iTreasure - and we focused all weekend on our treasures on earth & in heaven. Our first activity was a scavenger hunt, & the kids got to pick prizes from a treasure box at the end. I can't believe Anna picked vampire teeth!

Family games - the kids did really well at the lifesaver game & red rover - big accomplishments for the three year old little ones!

Our children's minister, Patty, came along to lead the kids while we had adult sessions. As always, she goes over & above - the kids dressed like pirates, had fun lessons, & got all kinds of treasure goodies.

That night we went on a hayride & made smores. I love Mae's mouth stuffed with marshmellow, and Addie with a face full of chocolate. Below, Anna & Daddy were chatting by the fire - such a sweet daddy/daughter moment.

Hayride!

This picture is blurry, but I had to include these precious friends. We pray that they are always so close.

Even though the girls got into a 10 minute crying & kicking catfight over trying to share leg room in a twin bed (we had left to clean the common area & came back to lots of tears), sleeping on the top bunk is their favorite memory from the trip. Mae says they slept on the "tippy tippy top" & we slept on the "tippy tippy bottom".

It looks like you guys had a great time even with the kicking match on the top bunk.
