Praying for our school

We started this tradition last year... the weekend before school starts we head up to the school to pray over Anna's school year, then take the girls for ice cream. This year we actually ran into the principle while we were up there, and she was so sweet & thankful for our prayers. It is such a blessing to be sending Anna to a school where the principle isn't worried about being "pc", but she's genuinely thankful & encouraging to parents praying for her school.
Anna prayed that her classmate from last year, M, would make new friends (we saw her at meet the teacher & she doesn't know anyone in her class). Mae prayed that Anna would have a great year & thanked God that Kylee is better (she prays for her all the time - we are so thankful that sweet Kylee recovered from her tonsil surgery!). Tom & I prayed that Anna would be an encourager to her classmates, that she would be a light for Jesus & that His joy would shine from her every day, that she would be brave & peace-filled, & for her classmates, teacher, & school staff. God was so faithful to our family during Anna's kinder year. He answered every prayer & went over & above our expectations. I know that this year will be more of the same! Now we are just ready for Tuesday morning to get here!
