eating: still nursing every 2 to 3 hours during the day. Can easily go 3, but if his nap is short he still wants to eat right when he gets up and won't be happy until he does! I usually try to pump a bottle (sometimes w/ an ounce or two of nutramigin formula) if we are going to be out because he still isn't great at nursing covered up.
sleeping: so much better! He takes at least 3 naps a day & a catnap in the evening. He goes down on his own awake & usually just goes right to sleep or fussy cries for about 5 minutes, sometimes we have to pat his back a while, but not for hours like before. Often he can't make it past the 45 minute transition & will wake up, sometimes we can get him back to sleep. At least once a day he'll take a good 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hour nap - we are hoping that more of them will be long soon because the short naps make him overtired. His sleep is much improved at night too - he takes a "dream feed" around 10 & can do 5 to 6 hours after that. A few times 7 hours. After that he's going right back to sleep for another 2 to 3 hours. Yeah!
likes: laying under his playmat, his swing, being swaddled for sleeping, nursing & being full (I get the sweetest smiles & coos afterwards!), having his sisters entertain him, bath time, being changed - I think he likes to be naked!
dislikes: the carseat - good grief! being tired, pacis, having his neck stretched (he has some mild torticollis - tight neck muscles on one side)
We love you Judah/Bubbie/Bub/Brother/Judah Boo!
