Girls in CS

This picture made me laugh out load when Grammy emailed it... Anna has always been obsessed with catching wild animals to be her pets. She once spent an entire camping trip trying to catch a wild rabbit. She got the idea at Grammy & Dingdaddy's house this week that she could trap a bird. She told my mom that if she caught one, she fully expected me to let her buy a bird cage & keep it. She spent the afternoon rigging contraptions with bird seed underneath & waiting nearby to snare her catch. Mom said at one point she had this string stretched all the way to the playhouse, peeking out over the half door waiting for an unsuspecting bird. This girl is going to be a crazy cat lady someday & spend every cent she earns on cat litter, vet bills, bird seed, dog food, etc.

It's probably obvious by the number of blog posts that I managed to write last week that I had some help with my kiddos! My parents offered to let the girls stay with them the week after Christmas while they were on school break (Nana & Pappy offered to help as well, but Nana got sick so they had to miss their time in San Antonio). It was a huge blessing to spend the week bonding with sweet Judah & getting a little extra sleep in the mornings. Since I was still trying not to overdo things post c-section, I spent lots of time blogging & writing thank you notes while Judah napped. Thank you Grammy & Dingdaddy!

Posing on campus - cute little Aggies

Grammy drove to pick up Madison so the cousins could spend time together... here is their sunroom tea party Every night is a slumber party!

Enjoying an "ice cream for lunch" date with Mamaw & Papaw - the girls loved "tattling" on Grammy about this!

Wasn't God good to let Judah be born where the timing was right for the girls to be able to come here during their Christmas break? Glad you had some time to start the healing process and we got the time to spend with the girls.
