Happy Birthday Mae!

Mae asked for cupcakes with M&M's on them for her school birthday treat. She told everyone, "The M's are for Maelyn!"

Four sounds way older than three & I don't like it one bit! I still see Mae as our snuggly baby, even though she has told me 1,000 times over the past couple of weeks that she is four (according to her, almost 4 1/2 already). Here is her bday interview:

When she grows up: teacher, dog & cat doctor (vet)

Describe your dream day: pretend to be a vet, play vet with cousin Madison, play computer, change shoes a lot, eat chicken nuggets & pizza, sleep in Anna's room

We just cherish this sweet girl. We love her live in the moment, joyful, giggly personality... she is our family's comic relief & source of light-heartedness. She still enjoys being held, snuggled, and treated like a baby at times, and then in the next minute she'll tell us that she's about to turn 16. She loves dressing up, playing with anything to do with animals, sweets, hanging out with Anna & Anna's friends, playdates with her own friends, making up songs in Spanish, changing shoes a dozen times a day, "not school nights" when she can sleep with her sister, coloring & cutting, playing outside, riding her stick horse, and laughing. We can't imagine life without her!
