Visit to the Ranch

This past week our girls got to spend a couple of days at the ranch, then we joined them for the weekend. They got lots of great cousin time - above are the 6 Dayton grandkids... Dylan, Kelly, Anna, Mae, Presley, & Kaden. It was a little challenging to get them all looking at the camera (2 out of 6)! Kaden was down at the ranch while his mom was in the final couple weeks of her pregnancy on bedrest. We are praying for a 7th little cousin to get here very soon!

The biggest hit of the weekend was this custom made slip & slide. Thanks Papa Kelly! The girls spent countless hours on this through the week. We also got to hang out with the family, the boys got to golf, & we took the girls to see Up in 3D at the Imax. Thanks so much for having us Nana & Pappy!

A silly Mae quote from the weekend... she said "Mommy, I like your earrings. Why do you wear them?" I told her they were just for decoration. She said, "Well, they make you look very distinguished." I guess I'll take that as a compliment! Her grandparents must have been giving her vocabulary lessons.

Papa brought a snow cone machine from work & treated all the kids. We were so thankful to be visiting the ranch at the same time as Tom's Uncle Jerry, Aunt Nicole, and cousins Madeline & Emma (the two big girls in the pic above). Madeline was the flower girl in our wedding & it was sweet to watch our wedding video with the whole family one night. We got lots of laughs on the goofy videography (a friend taped for us) & cracked up at seeing everyone 9 years ago. The girls were big helpers with our little ones on this visit. They are growing up into such sweet young ladies.
