How did she get old enough to wear mascara to a school performance? Anna was so excited to read on the note from her music teacher that she requested "a touch of lipstick" as part of their costume. That gave her the green light to ask for eye makeup, blush, & lipstick. It was a glimpse of Anna as a teenager - wow! Don't know if we're ready, but she sure is! The night was crazy - we had to fit in open house & the book fair before hand - but the performance was so cute. Anna played the recorder, did several square dances that she has been practicing after school for weeks, & also danced to a Mexican "Chapinacha". She did so well in the program & got awesome comments from her teachers as well during open house. We are so proud of our beautiful well rounded fourth grader!
