When we woke up on Friday, it looked like Colorado had come to Texas! It had snowed solid for almost 24 hours, and the records had been smashed. Anna & Mae couldn't wait to get back out in it, and thankfully school was canceled & Tom took the day off. We discovered through the day that Anna is our snow princess, and Mae is our beach bum girl. Anna would stay out for ever, even by herself after we all came in. Mae loved going out, but after just a short time she was ready to come in & strip down to short sleeves & panties. She spent the afternoon running around the house in her swimsuit!
We all headed to the sledding hill again, and Anna showed me how brave & adventurous she has become. I think she's definately ready for skiing on our next trip to CO!

The rest of us should have rushed up to join you guys and this would have counted for our every other year trip to visit Colorado to play in the snow. (and it would have been much cheaper for us all)
