Please Pray
I know that I have many wonderful prayer warriors who read this blog... so I'm asking that you all please read Jenny's blog (see link list) and add their family to your prayers. Jenny is my closest college friend (she was my matron on honor & I was her maid of honor in our weddings) and her family is precious to me. Her husband, Brad, is fighting cancer and they desperately need all of us to lift them up to our Father right now.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friends Jenny and Brad. I will be praying for them and for you and Tom too. I know it's so hard to see friends hurting. I'll pray for you to have to right words of comfort for your sweet friend, and that you will be able to truly listen to her fears, frustrations and praises. Thanks for sharing her story, I'll be checking in more.

I didn't know you had a blog until today somehow?? Just wanted you to know I found out about Jenny and Brad from Becky's blog and that I will be fervently praying for healing for Brad. I can't imagine how hard this situation is on your heart. I know the Lord is using you guys to encourage and love them!!! Love to you--

We are praying for Brad and Jenny. And for you and Tom as you try to comfort them. When Casey had cancer, I took comfort in Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

I'm on your prayer chain girl! I didnt realize you were so close to Jenny & Brad...it must be so hard to know what to say. Just knowing that so mnay people are praying and that God is listening...hugs and silence can be the best encouragement! love ya, whit
