Spring iPhone pics

Randomness from the month of May...

Memorial Day block party...  the weather was dicey this year but that didn't stop us from having a blast.  The pic below is of the kids after their race that Aubrey Sue organized.  They talked all week about how they were all going to race down the street during the party (like it was an organized fun run or something).

Anna asked for these matching tanks for her & Abby since they are the oldest & have the "lead the pack" of all the littles on the street.

Judah LOVES riding his bike now that he's a couple months free of training wheels.  This was taken on our first bike ride up to Kroger for a few groceries.  He had to walk part of the big hill in our neighborhood but otherwise did awesome.

Tom picked out his own early Father's Day gift - a one man kayak.  This was a quick trip to Lake Grapevine after school to try it out.

Mae's field day fun...

A trip to Legoland for Judah & Sydney.  On the way in he asked me quietly, "can I just hold Sydney's hand?"  Oh Buddy!  I thought I still had years before you were embarrassed to hold my hand!

Anna's spring band concert.  The difference between the fall concert & this one is amazing - I just can't believe how much they teach them in 9 months!  She & Nicole (on her left) we honored as the "outstanding flutists" by the director, Mrs. Kahler.  Proud of her!

Fishing at a nearby pond - another of Judah's loves.  Every time we go he catches the most fish & he doesn't let us forget it either!  Mae is pretty good herself - she can cast that adult rod & get the fish off the hook herself to throw them back in.  She holds worms all the time but isn't a fan of impaling them on the hook.

This is just a future blackmail picture :).  The boys on our street are constantly switching bikes, & they could all care less if it's a girls or boys bike.  Judah decided to try out Sydney's little bike & needed to accessorize with her pink bunny helmet.  Adam says he's saving the picture for the senior video someday.
