Some random moments from the last few weeks...
Preschool meet the teacher night in early Sept. Anna was at D group, but Daddy brought Mae & Judah to meet his penguin teachers while I met all my little turtles. Judah has been a rock star this year seeing me each day (since we are in the same age level we cross paths often)... he's happy to smile, wave, & run over for an occasional hug. A far cry from last year when he would fall apart if he saw me during the preschool day. What a big boy.
A weekend nap on the couch with Dad. This monkey loves his Daddy so much that even if it means he has to take a nap, he doesn't want leave Dad's side. Tom has a constant side kick on the weekends.
We got to take all of these cuties to watch the Aggie corp march in downtown before the Arkansas game. They loved the close up view of the band & anything that they get to do with Abby & Emma is a blast in their eyes.
Anna got to go on her first youth group retreat in late September. The theme was Avalanche & apparently this yeti made frequent appearances. It was a huge group (500 plus 6th through 12th graders from all 3 campuses), but she loved it. We are still hearing stories about the mind reading magician. I told her to leave her phone in her bag, so I stole this shot off of a friend's instagram feed (life with a middle schooler). So thankful for our church!
