Colorado Rafting, Hiking, & Ziplining

The girls & Dingdaddy all suited up for our rafting adventure... we went down a class 3 section of Brown's Canyon for a couple of hours.  The girls did awesome!  It wasn't crazy scary, but definitely lots of boat flipping potential & they loved it!

Judah, Paige & Leah all took turns on the tire horse, & below you can see our corn hole beanbags which got a lot of play that week

The zip line on the cabin's land over the creek was a favorite activity for all the kids.  At first the biggest "kids" - Mike & Josh - tried it out & almost killed themselves.  Then, they figured out ways to make it more tame for the real  kids on the trip & they loved it.  Uncle Mike was probably sorry that they figured this out because he then had to be the rope operator for hours the rest of the week.

Grammy & I found this fairy house idea on beloved Pinterest.  We weren't sure if they would get into it, but actually all 6 kids glued, decorated, & crafted the most elaborate fairy houses for hours.  A great outside activity for all our littles.

Humming bird action on the deck - I have never seen so many in my life.  These two were fighting over territory.   It was like our own nature channel up close.

Mike & Krystal & Mom & Dad got lots of hiking in on this trip.  They would share their beautiful pictures with us when they got back each night to make us jealous.  :)  No long hikes for Josh, Jeni, Tom & I, but we had a blast doing short ones with our shorties.
