A week after Mae's birthday she got to have her much anticipated party. Thanks to a Groupon, she was able to invite a small group of friends to have makeovers & a runway show at Sweet & Sassy. Since Mae is a girly, girl who loves to accessorize, paint her nails, and dance with her friends, this party could not have fit her better! The girls got their hair done & glittered, got sparkles on their cheeks, their nails painted, & chose dress ups... then a half dozen teenaged girls led them in silly dances on the runway stage. Some were more shy than others, but they all danced - and a few got really into it! It was hilarious to watch. Afterwards they went into a party room for brownies & ice cream (Mae's choice) & present opening.
Despite being REALLY loud, it was a great party. Almost no prep for me which was nice, and she loved every second of it. Her friends were a sweet group, and I loved seeing them all acting like big girls, even if it made me a little sad. Happy birthday to our sweet & sassy girl!
