Mae is now a professional kindergartner! 100 days of school under her belt. We are so proud of how she's adjusted this year. The first week or two she loved school... then she had a couple of weeks of being sad to be away from Judah & I. Her teacher said she'd come up all day & talk about tiny "owies", her stomach hurting, her throat hurting, etc. We realized that she was feeling lonely & solved the issue by letting her pick a favorite stuffed animal (Grace, Kit's dog) to live in her backpack at school with her. Since then, it's been smooth sailing. She continues to be very helpful & sweet to another little girl in her class with special needs which fits her motherly personality. She still adores her teacher & has become a great reader. We are so thankful that God has answered our prayers about a great start to school for her.
