Lazenby & Dayton Christmas - Minute to Win It!

Thank you pinterest for another great idea! Mom clicked on a blog post about playing "minute to win it" Christmas games... she gathered all the supplies for the games & we decided it will definately become an annual event. The competition was hilarious & it was great to have a couple of hours of silliness while my family was visiting to celebrate the weekend before Christmas. The games included a marshmellow toss, candy cane pick up, ornament balancing act, glass & cup stacking, kissing ornament hang, gloved present opening, & cookie eating. So FUNNY - I have goofier pictures but because I love my family & don't want to embarrass them I was selective in the ones I chose. :)

We also made a manger scene gingerbread house (with graham crackers - another pinterest idea - we are addicted), ate lots of food, and opened gifts. My kids loved everything they got, but were especially into the American Girl doll clothes that Mamaw sewed for them - several outfits each with tons of cute details. Grammy & Dingdaddy got them each a piece of furniture for their dolls as well. The gross, goofy gift that Uncle Josh got the girls was also a hit - a Doggie Doo... a plastic dog you feed goo to, then squeeze a handle to make it poop. The boys were laughing until they cried - especially at Maelyn who liked to put her face right up close to watch the action. Oh my.

Chicken. You should have posted more especially of Krystal. She was the queen of the cookie on the face game even though she didn't win. It wasn't because her face muscles weren't trying hard. Hilarious!!!!!
