Who would have guessed that we would have gotten to bust out our ski gear for a second year in a row? Or that we would be spending our FIFTH snow day home from school!? I'm catching up on this blog post from last week because school & BSF were canceled again for ice/snow today... after an amazingly cold week last week when everything shut down for four straight days. After ice Tuesday morning kept us homebound for several days (all but Tom who insists that since he learned to drive while living in Nebraska that he can slide into downtown for work), we got a good snow on Friday for the girls to play in. Thankfully Tom took the day off so that he could take the girls out sledding. Judah did NOT like the cold air... we took him out in his carseat all bundled up but soon got him back in the heated van where he took about 10 minutes to forgive us & stop screaming! The girls had fun sledding by the school with Kylee & Katie, throwing snowballs, and eating snow (Mae).

One of those shots has Anna looking about 10. Stop time, stop. I just love kids and snow.
So wonderful to see how much they now enjoy the snow. Also, Mae's conversation with Judah is preceless
