Oh, the things you do because you love your kids! Our girls have been planning & begging for months to celebrate Bitsie's first birthday. When we found out that the O'Rears have a birthday party for Macy every September, we couldn't resist having a double birthday party. The girls were thrilled to pick out dog petit fours at the dog bakery (who knew such a thing existed) & decorate the back porch - Anna taped lots of weeds/clover to the "dog" table & Mae colored & printed pictures off the computer of Clifford. They also insisted that I make party hats for the dogs like they'd seen at the bakery. The O'Rears were so sweet to join us & bring the "people" cupcakes, topped with scooby snacks which the kids thought was hilarious. The dogs got along well for the most part, except when Bitsie wolfed down her treat & then started sniffing at Macy's, who was eating very slowly & daintily. A little growl from Macy put her back in her place. It was so much fun to hang out with our friends, and the fall weather made for a perfect evening to play outside. As much as Bitsie makes me absolutely crazy most days, you can't deny the looks of joy on every girls face in the pictures. Happy first birthday Bitsie! Here's to a calmer year ahead with much fewer potty accidents, chewed walls & corners, and vet bills. :)

Thanks again for such a fun and hilarious night! The pictures are priceless....look at those sweet and happy faces!! It makes me wonder what those 4 girls will have in store for their younger siblings :)
