Secret keeper girls night
Such a treat to get to spend one on one time the this cute middle girl! A friend found tickets to a secret keeper girl "crazy hair" event so we got to go together with several other moms & daughters. It was a LOUD, silly, & fun night with speakers & entertainment about being a daughter of the King. Mae & I ended up having to spend about 10 looooong minutes in the on stage dance contest (in front of a couple thousand people) because she was pulled for the audience for her great crazy hair. Thanks a lot pinterest! Other than that torture ;), it was great to spend some time being silly & hearing Mae's heart in some really good mom/daughter conversations that they set up. We ended the very late night with Sonic ice cream. Love my Mae Mae!
Pine Cove
Mae's third year, & Daddy's first year at Pine Cove! They had a blast (& not enough sleep according to Daddy). Lots of Mae's school friends got to come this year as well so there were tons of fourth grade girls. Tom had the second grade boys cabin. Funny to hear about how experiencing Pine Cove with boys is a whole different ball game!
Mother's Day
Sweet blessings! This year all I wanted for mother's day was the day off! Tom was awesome & took the kids to the movies so I could nap then go shopping, & I came home to a full fajita dinner that he & the kids cooked (well, Anna melted the cheese dip anyway). I can't believe that Anna looks taller than me in this picture - I'm blaming the shoes??? - because just yesterday I became a mom. Somehow almost 13 (gasp) years have passed. Love these 3! Mae's Volleyball Season
Dig it! Maelyn just finished up her first season of rec league volleyball. Kevin Conway, a dad from church, coached & she got to play with several friends so that's what is important to our girl! She really improved through the season & says she really enjoyed it. Our team didn't make it past the first round of playoffs but it was a great experience.
Judah's Preschool Graduation
It's the end of an era! As I type this, I will be sending a child to preschool for ONE MORE DAY tomorrow. It's the last day having a child with me at SCP. Anna went to Circle of Friends at Legacy for 2 years, then Mae & Judah have done 7 combined years at Southlake Christian. Next year I still plan on teaching there, but I will be arriving & leaving every Tuesday & Thursday all by myself! I'm not even sure what that will feel like! Judah has loved his preschool years here. He has a precious group of friends & we have been blessed with awesome teachers. Every day I get at least 3 or 4 bonus hugs when his class passes mine (gone are the days when I had to hide from him because he would cry if he saw me during the school day). His class sang "my God is so big & so strong & so mighty" & then each answered 2 interview questions before "graduating" with their certificate.

When he grows up Judah wants to be a: "pizza guy"
What can I say, the boy loves food! Amy & Celina, his zebra teachers, said he's answered that he wants to be an engineer all year. For some reason at graduation he changed his answer to pizza guy. He told Tom it's because they make a lot of money! He'll be quite the catch!
Can these two look any more than a little married couple? Goodness! Such cuteness.
