Our sweet & spunky Mae… this picture is SO her! This was taken as we ran out the door for softball practice on her birthday - so her bday outfit was a St Patty's day green shamrock shirt, softball hoodie & pink cleats. She's cute enough to pull that look off!
At 8, Mae is our joy. Our family would not be the same without her constant giggles, positive outlook, & nurturing spirit. She is a huge help with Judah - at only half a head taller than him she still treats him like her baby doll & he eats it up. She makes friends wherever she goes (I think she has an awesome collection of best friend necklaces & bracelets), is not afraid to try new things, & still loves to throw in some baby talk when she's happy or excited.
For months leading up to her birthday she has begged, researched, chanted, & dreamed of getting a hamster. It was the first thing she talked about every morning & the last thing every night. She checked out hamster books from the library, looked up hamster care online, & drew pictures of hamsters daily. Who could break that sweetie's heart? So, our newest family member is a super cute, very stinky, skittish hamster named Lemon. Despite the fact that Lemon is determined not to be handled Mae is in love.
