These two had a great start to the year a couple of weeks ago. Everyone had been there, done that, so it was a piece of cake - an answered prayer! The girls both have precious teachers & Anna is thrilled to be in class with one of her besties - sweet Kylee. Only little man was sad for the first day to arrive - and every day after that. He does not want sisters to get to go anywhere without him & there have been many mornings that he's sat down on the sidewalk in front of the school & bawled. Thank goodness for preschool starting soon!
The last picture is of the cupcakes I made for a back to school prayer & dessert night with our neighbors the night before school started. Every year we pray over the school year with the girls at the building & this year we invited our neighbors to join us. We had six families pray with us & then have dessert at our house. It was perfect & I hope we can make it a new tradition.
We go to a big school (over 900 kids), but it makes me feel great when our principal greets the girls by name as they come into the building the first day. We are blessed!
