Hope for Honduras
So proud of our Anna. Soon after our trip this past summer, she started talking about how to raise money for the kids she met at the daycare. She decided to use her sewing skills to fill a booth with hand & machine sewn pillows, doll accessories, hand warmers, eye glass cases, and lots of other cute items. She recruited her sweet friend Abby to add even more hand sewn pieces, and Kelly Strznik was sweet enough to let her set up a table at her very well attended open house. She was able to make lots of sales & take even more orders... and ended up making about $150 to donate to Bread for a Hungry World. I loved her sign that she made for her table... "Hope for Honduras. Every Stitch Matters." I'm so thankful that God touched her heart on our trip & that little ones in an improverished area matter to her.
