This is a couple of weeks overdue - but it's summer so the craziness keeps me from getting anything done on time. Somehow our baby turned into a toddler! He is officially a toddler in every way - running, talking, exploring, and having lots of tantrums. Joy!
This monkey boy cracks us up every day... he is convinced that he is at least 6 years old like Mae, so he is constantly trying out big kid things. When that doesn't work so well - the screaming commences. ;) Thankfully he spends most of his day happy & playing (unless he's teething - then, watch out). His favorite things lately - his puppy that he sleeps with who he named Bubba, swimming & drinking a gallon of pool water, balls, balls, & balls, reading books, being outside, Elmo, playing chase, making animal sounds, his Daddy & sisters, and junk food. He is a good eater, and I get lots of healthy food in him every day - but he LOVES donuts, ice cream, and pizza.
He has tons of words, and uses two word phrases (we hear "my ball" all day long), but often gets frustrated that he can't tell you exactly what he wants. He is very familiar with time out for that reason. He's still a good sleeper - usually about 11 hours at night & a 2 hour nap every day. His stats at his 18 month check up: 27 lbs & 11 oz (73%), 34 1/4 inches (93%), head 49 cm (82%). He is well over half my height & will probably pass me & his sisters up in elementary school!
He just gets cuter & cuter, and even though he keeps us busy every minute of the day, we love him to pieces!
