College Station visit

We hadn't been to College Station since Christmas - a long 6 months to be away! Now that our littlest guy is a much better road tripper I decided to try the trip out by myself so that the girls & I could be several weekdays. He was awesome in the car... no naps, but no crying either. We were able to coordinate the visit with Mamaw, Papaw, & Nanny meeting us at my parents. They hadn't seen Judah since Christmas so they loved spending time with our happy bub & we were so thankful they made the trip down.

We spent the week swimming at the city pool & in the backyard, doing a quick back to school shopping trip, having a sleepover in the camper, and frog catching. Mae caught a tiny baby frog & put it in a bug house, and that became the entertainment for the week! The girls ending up catching a couple dozen little bitty frogs. They came up with names (Chocolate, Nectar, Rosetta, Black Beauty, & Brownie just to name a few) & played with them for days until we made them release the hardy ones that survived the adventure.

We also got some sweet pictures of Judah in the porch baby swing that has been passed down in my dad's family for almost 100 years. His granddad made it for his dad, so Judah is one of the fourth generation of babies to get to swing in it.

It was a great week of getting lots of grandparent & great-grandparent love! Thanks for having us Grammy & Dingdaddy.
